| The
World Crafts Council Asia Pacific Region was founded
with the World Crafts Council General Assembly held
in Oaxtepec, Mexico in the year 1976. Srimati Kamaladevi
Chattophadaya was selected as the first regional president
of the World Crafts Council Asia Pacific Region.
The
Regional President of World Crafts Council Asia Pacific
Region is elected for a term of 4 years. The Regional
President is assisted by a Deputy President in executing
his/her duties.
The
following people have functioned as Regional Presidents
of World Crafts Council Asia Pacific Region since its
inception in 1976.
